LOL. On Candian models (90-94 anyway) which have BOTH the front and rear reservoir, the rear reservoir services the windshield and hatch washer nozzle function, which is the more critical. I was assuming our level indication was for that tank only. The front reservoir on said models services JUST the headlight washers, which are essentially a useless feature and don't warrant a level indication. When I removed that reservoir last fall I don't recall seeing any sign of a method of level indication on it. (but now you're gonna make me go back and double check... d'oh!). On American Z's that never had headlight washers but have a front reservoir INSTEAD of a rear reservoir I could see why there'd be level indication there.
